Walt Disney Studios and director Jon Favreau are joining forces again to create another live-action movie based on another Disney classic.

“We can officially confirm that The Walt Disney Studios and director Jon Favreau are putting a new re-imagining of The Lion King on the fast track to production,” Disney said in a press release. “The project follows the technologically groundbreaking smash hit The Jungle Book, directed by Favreau, which debuted in April and has earned $965.8 million worldwide.”

Doctor Who Cocktails

2 oz Hpnotiq

1 oz crème de violette

¾ oz vodka

½ oz blue curaçao

Mix all ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain into chilled stemmed cocktail glass, garnish with an orange wheel cut hexagonally* and edible gold stars.**

*The trick with the orange hexagons is to cut the slice thick and keep pith on the edges – without the pith, the orange will be too flimsy and will fall apart.

**Edible gold stars can be purchased in the baking section of any craft store, eg. JoAnn’s or Michael’s. The ones used in the above photograph are made by Wilton, but if you can locate another brand, they should work the same and may even be cheaper.

Moana_BannerDwayne Johnson took to social media on Monday to announce that the new ‘Moana’ trailer will premiere on ‘Good Morning America’ this Thursday, September 15, 2016. 

He also unveiled a new poster featuring Moana (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho), Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson), Pua and HeiHei (voiced by Alan Tudyk).
